Q&A for 3D Eyebrows

Who can benefit from such a treatment?
Persons who:

have over-plucked eyebrows
have gaps or very spars eyebrows
are suffering from Alopecia (hair loss), weak or light hair
want a better shape for their eyebrows

Will it look natural?
Yes, it will look like your own hair. Immediately after the treatment the color will appear stronger and darker for the first 7-10 days. After that, the color will fade away up to 40%

Is there any down time?
No, right after the treatment the area will look a little red. There is usually no swelling with the eyebrow treatments, however this can vary from person to person depending on levels of sensitivity and age.

How many treatments do I require?
In most cases, only the initial treatment, followed by the touch-up after 4 weeks.

How do I care for my new brows?
Avoid washing the area in the first 7 days
Avoid swimming pools, the beach, steam rooms and saunas during the healing process (21 days).
Do not use any make-up remover, creams or skin treatments on the eyebrows during the healing process.

How long does it last?
The results will last an estimate of between 6 months to 18 months. However this will vary, depending on several factors such as your metabolism and skin cell turnover rate and your skin type (oily or dry).

Tattooed eyebrows which turned blue or orange. Can eyebrow 3D / Microblading cover the blue or the orange?
It would be difficult to say. There is a chance that even if I treat the area with 3D eyebrow embroidery, eventually, the blueish especially the orange tattoo will shine through. Meaning, you’ll still see the original tattoo color. The best course of action, is to book in for a one-to-one consultation.

Is it safe to do 3D / Microblading eyebrow when under any kind of medical treatment
You will need a written clearance from your doctor to allow you to have this treatment. Alternatively, consider having this done postnatal, but I do not recommend having it done while breastfeeding.
